Our Program Phases

CCANBE unfolds in three strategic phases, each designed to meet the unique needs of providers at different points in their professional journey. Together, they form a comprehensive child care advancement program.

Phase 1: Quality Quest Mentorship
​
The cornerstone of CCANBE, Quality Quest Mentorship supports family child care providers in improving program quality through hands-on mentorship. Providers receive guidance on:

This phase is all about raising standards, enhancing environments, and fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement in early childhood education.

Elevate your career by turning your international education into a recognized asset right here in Maryland. Phase 2 of CCANBE provides free support to help you evaluate your college degrees or coursework from outside the U.S. and obtain a formal U.S. equivalency.
We’ll guide you step by step through the credential evaluation process — at no cost to you — so you can meet Maryland’s professional standards, qualify for advanced roles, and position your program for long-term success.
With Phase 2, your global education becomes a direct pathway to higher qualifications, accreditation, and leadership in Maryland’s child care community.
Phase 3: Ready, Set, Pre-K
Our newest phase focuses on preparing family child care programs to apply for Maryland’s Pre-K Expansion Grant. Through our Pre-K Readiness HUB, providers get:

On-site assessments using Maryland Pre-K standards

Hands-on support building budgets and completing grant applications

Help aligning curriculum and staffing qualifications

Guidance on billing and compliance so they’re grant-ready
