From the President

First and foremost, I would like to thank all the Directors and Executive Committee and the providers from the local associations who attended the MSFCCA annual retreat.  We had a wonderful day networking and working on our strategic plan for the next two years.  I had the opportunity to speak with many friends and providers at this meeting.  It was exciting to see the WORK that was accomplished in that room.  We are on the way to some new goals that will be reviewed by the Board of Directors and passed down to the local associations so that they can be voted on at the Annual Meeting.  We will share our ideas with MSDE, MCC and other advocacy groups that might be able to help us with our goals. We are just like you, we are family child care providers that work all day just like you, and then we volunteer hours to our passion, children and advocacy.

Please keep your eyes open in the future for new opportunities for providers and thank you for your continued support for the MSFCCA.
